Whether you are a dental assistant, dental hygienist, oral health therapist, dentist or dental prosthetist, as health professionals we spend each working day thinking about other people. We solve their dental problems, we assist in maintaining their overall health, we educate our patients, give them a friendly smile and someone to chat to and hopefully they leave with a smile on their face. This article by Eileen Morrisey put a smile on my face and made me think how easy it is to do that something extra for our patients, and even to take it a step further and include our friends and members of the local community. Little thoughts go a long way!
