Dr Anthony Au received his BDS and MDSc in prosthodontics from the University of Sydney. He has Fellowships in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International College of Dentists. He is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists, Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists and Australia and New Zealand Academy of Orofacial Pain.
Dr Au is an innovative prosthodontist in private practice and has also taught for many years in the disciplines of Occlusion, Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Implants at the University of Sydney. During his time as a lecturer, he was involved in integrating of the teaching of Occlusion and the restorative disciplines, with an emphasis on evidence-based treatment. Currently he is a Clinical Associate Professor, teaching in the MDSc (prosthodontics) programme at the University of Sydney. Dr Au has published more than 20 articles and abstracts in international refereed journals and is known locally and internationally for his light-hearted, interactive style of presentation.
