Introducing Dr Neil Bossenger
South African born. Emigrated to NZ in 2002 after studying chemical engineering in Johannesburg. Started at AUT in 2003 while working as a signwriter part time. Then studied chiropractic, working as a draughtsman at night. Excelled in research, achieving a grant and paper on heart rate variability pending publication in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics. Clinic director of Spinewave Wellness Centre for the past 5 years, specialising in Upper Cervical Specific and Functional Neurology, with focus on family wellness and neurological disorders. Currently undertaking a Masters in Neuroscience on the psychological influences on pain pathways and the autonomic nervous system.
